Lembaga riset digital eMarketer merilis, tahun ini untuk pertama kalinya belanja iklan online telah mengambil alih belanja iklan surat kabar di Amerika Serikat.

eMarketer memperkirakan bahwa belanja iklan online akan tumbuh sekitar 13,9 persen pada tahun 2010 menjadi US$25,8 miliar, sementara belanja iklan untuk media cetak turun 8,2 persen menjadi US$22,7 miliar.

Pendapatan iklan di online meningkat hingga US$25,7 miliar. Angka ini, menurut eMarketer, masih berada di bawah budget para pengiklan untuk online, yakni sekitar US$25,8 miliar. Read the rest of this entry »

“Potret politik tahun 2010 terlalu dinamis, over tone, over acting, melodramatis, seperti tontotan tanpa substansi,” ujar kata Daniel dalam diskusi Trijaya ‘Prediksi Politik & Hukum 2011’ di Jakarta, Sabtu, 18 Desember 2010.

Oil prices in Asia Settled in Level U.S. $ 82

The price of crude oil to trade in Asia bounce back. Investors were weighing whether to extend full month rally is justified in the weak demand for crude oil in the United States (U.S.).

Based on electronic transactions from the New York stock exchange, Friday afternoon in Singapore, the price of light sweet crude for April contract rose 8 cents to U.S. $ 82.19 per barrel. While the results of transactions in New York early this morning, oil prices rose 2 cents to U.S. $ 82.11 per barrel.

Crude oil prices rose 18 percent from the level of U.S. $ 69.59 per barrel on February 5 and because some data showed the U.S. economy is growing. Although slow, steady growth took place. Movement of stock price index at a number of major Asian stock today tend to be stagnant. Investors apparently were still waiting for other signs of strengthening global and regional economy.

The Nikkei 225 in Japan rose only 87.05 points (0.8 percent) to 10,752.00. In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng index fell only 0.1 percent to 21,211.36. In fact, the Kospi index in South Korea showed no permanent change in 1656.74.
